Unleashed! is a labor of love for owner-operators, Bill Leslie and Lisa Krechting - neighbors who met and formed a friendship through their dogs.  What started out as simply a social thing has turned into an exciting business venture for both.

Their story is really pretty simple. They were part of a group of single people in their condominium complex whom all met while out walking their dogs.  Dog walking in groups quickly turned into “canine cocktail” hours after work or on the weekends where they all socialized while their dogs interacted and played. However, they were frustrated by the lack of designated safe play areas for their pets who enjoyed the socializing as much as their “parents” did.  

Bill owned his own financial company and worked from home, while Lisa had been dabbling in a number of occupations ever since leaving the corporate world several years ago. She wasn’t satisfied with what she was doing and had always wanted to find a way to parlay her passion for animals into a business.  Bill was bored with what he was doing and was looking for a new business venture as well – plus he just loves dogs!  Because they both worked unusual hours, they often helped take care of their friends’ dogs when they were working long days or had to go out of town. The idea of a daycare/boarding facility was soon born. They began to research this emerging business and formed an informal “advisory group” of their many dog-owning friends while hunting for the perfect location. Even though they saw a number of successful day care facilities in other areas of metro Atlanta, they were surprised by how few there were in the Marietta area.  Once they learned of all the residential development taking place around the Square, they really started to focus on that area. 

Their location on 376 N. Fairground with a convenient “in and out” driveway is the perfect home for Unleashed!  The location is convenient to Hwy 41 and Interstate 75.   The Cobb Emergency Animal Clinic is ½ mile away from their facility and their veterinarian, TVC is less than 2 miles away on Fairground.

Lisa and Bill (and all of their friends) are picky dog owners who expect their clients to be the same and welcome prospective customers to call and schedule a visit for them and their dog to check out their facility.  It is important that both the dog and the parent are comfortable with the pack and the open cage-free environment.
